Spring & Easter Book Wall

April 2, 2020 by thevettelfarm

One of our favorite things to unpack within our holiday totes, is the seasonal books we tuck away in each one. Halloween, Christmas, Fall, Spring, and Summer all play host to some fabulous children’s books. These books are all wonderful to read, but also offer so much character and charm to any book wall. Here are just a few of our favorites for Spring and Easter. They make great additions to any Easter basket or to curl up and read with your kiddos.

The titles are listed under each photo and each link is clickable if you want to add one to your collection!

The Tale of Peter Rabbit  – This is the classic tale of Peter Rabbit!

Little Cow – The Look at Me series that details the story of a sweet baby calf and his Mom.

The Easter Story – A brief overview of the biblical Easter Story for preschoolers.

We Are the Gardeners – The gorgeous book by Joanna Gaines that outlines her adventures with her children and the start to their garden.

Little Lamb – Look at Me series that details the story of a little lamb and his Mamma.

Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring – As days stretch longer, animals creep out from their warm dens, and green begins to grow again, everyone knows―spring is on its way! This book was just released and it follows a little boy and his dog as they welcome Spring.

Little Baa – The adorable Little Baa loses his Ma and this story follows how they get reunited!

The Littlest Bunny in ……. This book is specific to your state, so look for your state!

The Great Eggscape –The Good Egg and his pals escape from their carton and they drop into the store for a morning of fun! We just got this book and my girls loved it!

Ollie’s Easter Eggs – A cute, little story about how Ollie hides all of the eggs from his friends for a special Easter egg hunt!

God Gave Us Easter – An adorable polar bear Little Cub, talks with her father and learning about God’s design for the Easter season and what it really means. We love this book for our preschooler.

Spring in the Forest – A colorful lift-a-flap book about springtime in the forest.

I Love You Honey Bunny – My toddler loves this book with the soft, cuddly bunny ears. A great book to show your little honey bunny just how much you love them!

When Spring Comes – A beautiful book about how the world changes when spring arrives. It captures the quiet wonder of nature for sure!

Furry Bunny  – A teeny, tiny Look at Me series book about a cute, little furry bunny.

The Honeybee – Buzzing from flower to flower you will follow the sweet little honeybee in this STUNNING book!

Little Duckling – Another Look at Me series book. I love these books because they add so much character to our book walls! These would be perfect for a farm themed bedroom too!

Easter Bunny – A cute book of baby animals, the perfect touch and feel book for your sweet babies.

The Runaway Bunny – A fun tale of a little bunny and how he plans to run away, but his Mother has a clever response to every place he plans to run away! This book comes from the same collection of books as “Goodnight Moon”.

Not pictured but also good ones!

Guess How Much I Love You – A beautiful book that details the true meaning of love. This is a great baby gift book too!

How to Catch the Easter Bunny  – This is one of our favorites! A cute tale that follows the adventures of the Easter Bunny as he delivers eggs. My girls always love to visit about how they would catch him. We have this series in How to Catch a Mermaid, Leprechaun, and Unicorn too!

I always think book walls are such a great decor feature in any children’s bedroom and when you can pair it with a holiday theme it turns magical!

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter at home! That’s the great thing about all these books, is that you can order online and have them each shipped to your home!

When I tell you I dragged my feet on this project When I tell you I dragged my feet on this project forever, I truly did. I could not wrap my brain around how to get the back off of a watch, but it is so darn easy! This project literally took me 10 minutes.

So a few notes, to take the back off of a watch,it’s very simple. You’re going to put a small amount of hot glue on the back of the watch and then glue on a wooden pencil. Let it dry then you’re going to simply twist and it will pop right off. When you’re ready to put the back on the watch, simply peel the glue off and pop it back on.

The other gadget that made this project so simple was the Polaroid printer that I have. I simply took a picture of an existing picture, printed it, and then cut it out by tracing the back of the watch.

The photo itself slips right in front of the watch mechanism so you don’t even have to take anything out if you wanted to keep the watch itself intact.

I chose to do my mom and both of my grandma’s and I cannot tell you how happy this project makes me feel to see their smiling faces. 💗💗💗💗

Comment PRINTER and I’ll send you the link of the Polaroid printer that I used! Don’t forget to look at that jewelry table at the next garage sale you’re at for those fancy vintage watches!
