As history pushed forward, antique insulators were used for electrical and telephone wiring. The first insulators were smaller, as they only needed to protect one wire. Back in the day, heater grates were so stunning! They had intricate patterns and the most beautiful patina. I have seen really neat projects where people make beautiful tabletops out of them, but I'm not that talented yet! I knew I wanted to display this gorgeous piece for spring and what better than tucking in a few faux succulents? Faux succulents are seriously the best ever!
