It is so bizarre to be typing 2023 already, but it’s that time of year to charge forward into the new year. There is something so rewarding about bringing out all the stops for holiday decorating, but then starting fresh in the new year. This year for my winter decor I will be incorporating more wood tones, brass, shades of deep green and blue. I love to add a few new pieces as a base to start the season. In doing this it offers a clean slate to incorporate and mix-in vintage elements and it really helps those classic pieces shine.
I absolutely love the mix of brass and warm wood tones for winter. I think the shimmer adds such a beautiful, cozy glow. I have been seeing lots of the deep, sage green this year and beautiful pops of sky blue too. I think this sage green will be an excellent compliment to the minty green in my home.
