Four Leaf Clover Ciabatta Bread

March 5, 2022 by thevettelfarm

When it comes to bread baking, simplicity is always my genre! This recipe is so very simple and very festive for Spring and St. Patrick’s Day of course! The use of frozen dinner rolls makes this baking project easy for kiddos and beginners alike. The four leaf clovers are adorable and you could create any springtime scene with any type of veggies or herbs that you have on hand.

Ingredients

  • Rhodes Texas Dinner Rolls
  • Olive Oil
  • Green Onions
  • Green Peppers
  • Jalapeños
  • Thyme Sprigs
  • Dill

Directions

  1. Grease a 9×13 baking dish or large cookie sheet. Place your frozen dinner rolls in the pan and let rise for 4-5 hours.
  2. Once rolls have risen, use your fingers to punch down dough.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the top the dough. Use a brush to brush the entire top of the rolls.
  4. Slice your green onions into long stems. Slice your green peppers into “clover slices”. Slice your jalapeños into discs.
  5. Arrange your green peppers and jalapeños into four leaf clover shapes. Add the green onions as stems. Use thyme sprigs and dill to create a grass effect. Lightly press your veggies into the dough to secure.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit  for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.

I had several requests for the baking dish I used too. It is a Fireking 2000 jadeite model, so not something you can run out and buy at Target, BUT I did find a few second-hand options for you. I love to use this newer Fireking jadeite for baking. Fireking 2000 bake ware also came in a 9×9 square pan, pie plate, and covered dish. See below for Fireking 2000 jadeite bake ware I found for sale!

Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸 AI images are starting to r Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸 AI images are starting to really get me down, so here are a few real collections, faded colors, timeworn details, and the kind of nostalgia that can’t be generated by a prompt. Every flag, crockery, rusty sign, and patriotic trinket carries a little piece of history with it.

Americana was never meant to be perfect. It was meant to be lived in. 🇺🇸

I find vintage books all the time, so I’m always l I find vintage books all the time, so I’m always looking for unique ways to use them and display them. For this DIY, I rolled the pages of vintage books into delicate little holders for faux florals, turning worn paper and timeworn pages into something full of charm.

Sometimes the loveliest décor comes from the things people overlook at antique stores and thrift shops. A faded book. A little imagination. These would be fantastic for any season, wouldn’t they be magical for Christmas?!?!

Instead of using them the ordinary way, I started turning vintage terra-cotta into little pieces of garden art, seed starting tray, string holder, or planter “feet” 🪴 All unexpected cottage garden details that look like they’ve been tucked into the garden for generations.

Proof that sometimes the most beautiful garden projects begin in the simplest aisle of the garden center. 🤎

Which idea would you try first?

There’s just something about an all-American state There’s just something about an all-American state fair… 🇺🇸🎡 The glow of carnival lights, striped awnings fluttering in the summer breeze, pie tins cooling beside blue ribbon quilts, and vintage treasures that feel stitched into the story of summer itself.

Don’t miss the @weatheredwhitebarn Summer sign sale this Friday, May 15th at 9am MST on her website! A portion of the profits will go to the Wounded Warrior Project! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

This little collection feels like a walk through the fairgrounds at golden hour, where every corner smells like lemonade and kettle corn, every song sounds a little nostalgic, and every piece carries that timeless red, white, and blue magic.✨✨

Vintage Americana will always feel like home to me. ❤️🤍💙

Maybe it’s the years of thrifting and collecting, Maybe it’s the years of thrifting and collecting, but I can’t look at the simplest objects without imagining what they could become. This little terracotta saucer started as an ordinary garden piece and ended as a cloche that feels like it belongs in an old weathered greenhouse. ✨

I love projects like this because they remind me that beauty doesn’t always have to be expensive or complicated. Sometimes it’s just seeing ordinary things in a different lens. ✨
