Our pantry is really the heart of our kitchen. We have a tiny kitchen, so having an organized pantry is essential! It seems like after the holidays our pantry is quite used and abused, so a reset in January is always a must. Here are a few of my favorite tips to keep your pantry organized, while also adding in some fun, funky vintage flair!
1. Invest in quality storage containers
I can not tell you how helpful these containers are to keep a tidy pantry. They are an initial investment, but they truly do last a lifetime. I am partial to the OXO brand to keep everything fresh with their lock top.I linked up my favorite styles and sizes at the bottom of this blog post.
2. Label in a fun font
With lots of storage containers, use a fun font to label them all. I used my Silhouette to cut vinyl letters that stick on the outside. I did all of my storage containers a few years ago and they have held up magically.
3. Mix in vintage style containers
I love a good mix of vintage canisters and vintage “style” canisters. Most are clear, but some are colored glass. Their shapes and vintage charm add so much pizazz to the pantry. These glass canisters with the jade lid are my all time favorite! Here are a few that would be exceptional!
4. Create designated spaces for small appliances
I have so many small appliances – Air Fryer, Insta-Pot, Mixer, Crock Pot, Food Processor, Blender. They all need a home and having a small shelf space for each of them saves me so much time! I love keeping these items out of sight and it saves me so much counter-top space too.
Benjamin Franklin once said “A place for everything, everything in its place” and boy was he right! The power of a clean and organized space is unmatched! I hope this gave you a few ideas to tidy up your pantry and enjoy the New Year with a fresh start!
